I am extremely grateful for having her as my piano teacher and lifelong friend.” “As a band director, wife of a professional musician and daughter of retired band directors, I recognize superb musicianship and teaching; however, I’ve seen a new side of these as a mother…my daughter wants to practice, not only to improve, but to impress her teacher. I think that is a special trait of amazing and highly respected teachers. Dr. Patterson is an amazing and passionate teacher, and we are so lucky to have her in our lives!”
