GCMTA Music Day Literature and Performance Requirements – Guitar

1. Students are to perform any two selections of contrasting style.
2. Pieces may be chosen from either the Classical or Acoustic repertoire.
3. Memorization of all pieces is required. Those who do not meet the repertoire or memorization requirements may enter “for comments only.”
4. Students must provide the judge with an original score of the music with measures numbered. The teacher’s name should be deleted from the score. All music used must comply with copyright regulations.
